DIY: How to Make Bath Bombs at Home
Want to make your own bath bombs to pair with these tags? Here’s a simple beginner-friendly recipe and don't forget - it's all about the ingredients! You can easily turn them into something suitable for anyone!
Ingredients
I know you need a few ingredients for this DIY gift. But I'd say it's worth it - especially if you make these gifts for a wedding or birthday party for your guests. The more you create the cheaper it gets as you can create a lot of bath bombs from the listed ingredients. Besides that, it's a personal present for someone special!
Instruction
Mix the dry ingredients: Combine baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and Epsom salt in a large bowl.
Mix the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, stir together coconut oil, water, essential oil, and coloring.
Combine slowly: Gradually whisk the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Add very slowly to prevent premature fizzing. The texture should feel like damp sand — it holds together when squeezed.
Pack into molds: Firmly press the mixture into your bath bomb molds. Overfill slightly and press the two halves together if using round molds.
Let dry: Leave the bath bombs in the molds for 24 hours. Gently remove and let them cure another day if needed.
Tip: Store them in an airtight container until ready to package.
