Hi everyone - Darlene here of Studio4 Design•works, and this month I'll be hosting the Word Art Challenge.
It's summer in the northern hemisphere and that means getting out and meeting with friends and family. I've created a WA with that in mind. Create a page using this - it can be as big or as small as you want and you may re-colour it if you so desire.
You can pick up the file HERE:
Save your image as a jpg file, at 600x600 pixels, no larger than 125 K.
You must post your image in this thread and link it to the challenge gallery image (see tutorial link below).
List your credits in the gallery.
Be sure to post your layout in this gallery with proper credits, and then come back here and post your layout to show us what you've done!
Also be sure to post the link to your layout in the August 2012 Challenge Tracker thread so you'll get credit.

That is so lovely Jody - I really like that you re-coloured the WA to white. It goes so well with your kit choice and LO. The addition of the violion and sheet music is perfect for the "friends' photo. Well done - it's a super page and you've totally caught the essence of the saying.!

Oh - that is so pretty Shari! That's Elaine with you there isn't it? What a great photo - and so great you guys know each other in person (I have have missed something previously!) I love your stacked papers and the yellows and browns are such a great contrast and pop nicely off the page. Thanks for participating!

Yes, Darlene. That is Elaine with me. We first met several years ago when we were both active on another site. I can't remember for sure the year. I want to say it was 2007 or 2008. When she came to Texas in Sep 2010 on one of her visits to her daughter's they made a side trip to San Antonio to go to Sea World. My daughter and Charlie and I met Elaine and her family at Sea World and we spent the most marvelous day together, even though it rained on us. It was warm and just kept on going. She is truly a very special lady.

Awe Shari what beautiful words and I feel the same about you, you are a very special lady too and such a wonderful friend. Wish we lived closer to each other but at least we have the phone and emails.
