I wasn't sure I was going to get this one done. Nothing like waiting until the last day... It looks so good I just got some zucchini out of the freezer and I am going to make more bread today. It is freezing here, so the perfect day to have the oven on.

Wow, I didn't mean to get so heavy on this one, but I am going through a really tough time. Somehow, when I lost my brother, then my wonderful cat, and finally my mom all in the space of less than 13 months, it wasn't as hard as this. All three were sick, and I knew their deaths were coming, but my sister and her husband's accident came like lightning out of the blue. Plus, way back when, I was super busy with work, school, remodeling a house, and trying to maintain the status quo, so I never had much time for grief. Now, it's like the floodgates have opened for all that pent-up sorrow. I'm strong, and I know I'll get through this with time. Praying and meditating help a lot, too, as does the friendship I have with a special cousin and a host of good friends, old and new, on island and back in the states. So, please bear with me as I work through this in my journaling and scrapping, OK?
