Hello everyone,
I will show you how to use a clipping mask.
You will need a background, clipping mask and photo. Open them all in your program.
Then drag and drop the elements on your background.
Now click on the clipping mask layer and create a new layer ( see pic below)
Now click on gradient ( see pic below)
Your gradient Editor will popup.
Now pick a color from your background or photo, click OK
You can now adjust the gradient a bit if you wish ( see pic below)
When you are done click ok.
Now you simply pull your gradient over top ( see pic below)
This is what you will get ( see pic below)
Now you press your alt key and point your curser between the clipping mask – and gradient layer.
You will see that your curser changes , click.
You will now see that your clipping mask changed to the gradient you did chose. ( see pic below)
Now click between the gradient- and your photo layer.
Now you want to remove the sharp edges of your photo to have it blend more in with the clipping mask.
Click on your photo layer, then on your eraser tool and choose a brush with undefined edges. ( see pic below)
Then simply erase the edges of your photo ( see pic below)
After you erased your photo ‘s edge,s you click merge clipping mask ( see pic below)
