Black/white Photo with a detail in color in Photoshop Elements
Hello everyone,
This time I want to show you how you do some colored parts in a black /white photo.
To start open the photo you are going to work with, right click on the layer on the right side, click layer from background, click OK ( see pic. below)
Right click layer again, duplicated layer ( you can give the new layer a name if you wish)
Now make sure the new layer is marked ( highlighted) , we are going to make our photo black/white now.
Go to Enhance / Convert to black and white ( see pic below)
Choose one of the effects and click OK ( see pic below)
Now you are going to use a brush, choose one from the eraser tool, choose a brush which doesn’t have defined edges for better results.
Click on the magnifier to get a closer look at your picture.
So now you can start erasing over the part in your photo that you want colored ( see pic below), use a larger brush on bigger parts and smaller brushes on the edges.
Choose any part you want the color to come though .. be creative and have fun!
Hope you enjoyed the Black and white coloring detail tutorial.
